CHEE Affiliates & Fellows Program

As part of our commitment to research, engaged scholarship, and academic outreach, we are excited to announce our newly revised Affiliates and Fellows (A&F) Program. Our A&F program is designed to connect and engage a network of scholars conducting high-quality social science research on student success to other researchers, scholar-practitioners, and decision makers.

Program Benefits×
  • Membership within a supportive community of practice committed to ensuring student success
  • Eligibility to apply for seed grants to support student success research
  • A $500 annual stipend for research purposes
  • Opportunities to collaborate on mutually beneficial research projects and grants, scholarly publications, and outreach programs
  • Opportunity to request special access to CHEE data for scholarly purposes
  • Professional biographical statement and photo included on CHEE’s website and promotional materials
  • Share your scholarly work and publications with CHEE’s network via the Center’s print, visual, electronic, and social media channels
  • Special invitations to participate in private meetings, trainings, and featured speakers
  • Agree to serve a 2-year term appointment
  • Be willing to support the work of CHEE in at least ONE way annually (e.g., expert reviewer, blog, newsletter column, serve on panel, attend event, financial support)
    • Tenured/Tenure-track faculty members


    • Administrators at research universities or in research-related positions


  • Earned doctorate degree (or other terminal degree) from an accredited college/university

Applications must be submitted by February 1st to comprised of the following:

  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Cover Letter highlighting scholarly research interests and commitments to student success related research
  • Paragraph conveying interest and why you would like to participant in the program
